Bring On the Canberra Classic at the end of November!
My two girls, Rebecca Walshe and BHM Spanish Love (Alice) having fun training today. I cannot be any prouder of them!
Both Rebecca and I have just been snowed under with work, family, foaling down and putting mares in foals that we just have not had time to compete. However we are aiming for the ACT Dressage Club Canberra Classic at the end of November.
My beautiful Pure Spanish mare, BHM Silver Diamontina, is in foal to the lovely buckskin pony stallion, Chevel de Lux. This will be Diamontina’s third foal but first non Spanish foal. It is a shame we have to wait eleven months! This foal is due September 2019.
Born on 29 October 2018, Marti as she is know is the last foal of our season. This huge filly is by the sensational Warmblood stallion Don Martillo who won the 2018 European 6yr old Young Horse World Championship out of our Pure Spanish Mare, BHM Black Porsha. Porscha is the dam of many successful progeny including BHM Silver Jaguar and BHM Silver Bellachara. Her 007 filly is a rising 3yr old and is showing enormous potential.
I cannot wait for this filly to grown up!
Rebecca and I were getting ready to leave to go the wedding of Diana Thorman and Rod Harris but guess what - Koncheeta had other plans for us! Koncheta decided it was time to have her foal. Being a maiden we were not going to leave her and her adorable filly was born we believe the same time Diana and Rod were exchanging their vows! So in honour of our close friend Diana we named this little girl BHM Diana. She is by Woronora Ninja a Sect A Welsh pony out of BHM Koncheeta a pure spanish mare. She will be dual registered and is for sale to best of homes only.
